Prediabetes: Could you be at risk?

One in 3 US adults – that’s around 86 million people – are estimated to have prediabetes.   Why is this so important?  It is estimated that 15-30% of prediabetics will develop diabetes within 5 years!  Once you have diabetes, you have increased risk of heart disease, stroke, eye problems, and kidney failure.  But fortunately, weight loss and moderate exercise can aid in prevention and risk reduction.
